Jess and I are back in Okinawa. We've actually been back for almost a week now.
One of my good friends from the States, Jonathan, has been traveling all over Asia, and he joined us in Tokyo. We spent a few nights in Tokyo to show Jonathan around. (We kinda winged it because I haven't been in Tokyo for a few years, but we had a fun time in the big city. Pictures will follow soon... :)
Jonathan came with us to Okinawa, our home, and we were able to show him a glimpse of our lives here on this beautiful island.
My parents threw a beach party for my birthday, and it was super-fun-time. Most of my cousins, a few old friends and my aunts and uncles came. As usual with any Nakagawa (my Japanese family name) event we have on this island, there was an abundant cornucopia of amazing food. With the perfect weather, crisp water, tasty treats and excellent company, to say I had an awesome birthday bash would be an understatement.
Jonathan has left the island and is on his last lap of his awesome trip of the far East. Now we are visiting family, trying to get some work done and enjoying the sunshine. Sorry for the huge lapse in time between my first post and this one. I'll post some pics of our time here in a couple days :)
